MONTRÉAL, Dec. 12, 2020 – The Samuel De Champlain Bridge will take on a green hue tonight from sunset to 1:00 a.m. to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Paris Climate Agreement.

« The Samuel De Champlain Bridge is the ideal symbol to shine a light on the 5th anniversary of the ambitious Paris Agreement, and the work that Canada is doing to fight climate change. The bridge was built with the goals of this agreement in mind: sustainable infrastructure that promotes public and active transportation, and helps create a healthier and more prosperous future for our kids and grandkids. »

—The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities
